Írjon visszajelzéstI had a fantastic experience here rebuilding my strength after foot surgery. Joe was very helpful in correcting my technique and the atmosphere was really welcoming and uplifting. I'm now back to dancing with no problems. Everyone who works there is very helpful and nice!
Humus was very bland, not tasty. The bread had more flavor. Salad dressing was also very bland. Chicken and gyro were good ish but not enough to save the plate. Fried cheese was ok at best. Portions seemed pretty small considering I can't even finish a combination platter from albasha. Pretty disappointing considering I just spent sixty dollars on two and a half people. I wouldn't recommend this place...
Stopped here before heading to New O. This place is legit with fresh food friendly service. Ordered the fried cheese tomatoes, schwarma salad a kebob-all items were perfectly seasoned delicious.
I hate to only give two stars because the food was pretty good, but damn, it just was such a disappointing dining experience. First off, the Northshore is severely lacking in middle eastern/Greek/Lebanese places. Your options are basically this, Albasha all the way in Covington, or Zoe 's Kitchen (which I love, but it 's not the same idea). Mona 's used to be my jam but they closed looooooong ago. At home in Baton Rouge we have amazing Lebanese all over the place. We tried to go to Al Sultan, which we discovered has recently closed, so Rimal was the next option. I had been once before, but didn 't remember much. When we walked in for dinner, there were two other tables seated. The two young girls behind the bar were the only employees we saw, and one went to check if they could seat our party of 6. I guess this was a red flag. We were told we could sit anywhere. We sat in a booth that was falling apart and a bit dirty, but all of the options were like this. It was pretty warm inside the restaurant, so we choose a place under a ceiling fan. A little effort could go a long way to spruce this place up. One of the young girls behind the bar actually became our waitress. I 'm guessing she was part of the family that owns the place, because she seemed to be around middle school aged. She was trying her very best, but the adults at the restaurant didn 't seem to be helping very much. We got drinks quickly, then ordered some hummus and baba ganouj. The hummus was bland, but the baba ganjou was very good. We ordered our entrées, which involved the waitress going into the kitchen to check on which things were available a few times during the ordering process. This admittedly made us a little nervous. At the end of ordering, she told us it would be about 30 minutes. Again, she was super sweet and apologetic for the wait, but she 's just a kid! I totally understood and could tell she was nervous about being a waitress. Finally, the food came out. Well, some of it came out. A couple entrées came out, then a couple more about 3 minutes later. Two of us were still waiting, so we asked about out food after about 5 more minutes. Apparently the kitchen had forgotten. So we waited while telling everyone else to go ahead and eat. When my falafel wrap did come out, it was good. The side Greek salad was pretty good too, but not the best I 've ever had. A couple of the entrées had the wrong sides, one came out as a plate instead of a wrap, but at that point we didn 't really care. The positive note is that everyone liked the taste of the food. I 've had better, but in Mandeville this is pretty much your only option so I guess I 'd be happy with it too if I lived there. The general consensus with our party is that we get that they are trying to save money by having family members work at the restaurant, but the service isn 't doing the place any favors. I felt bad that the girl seemed stressed out and the adults in the place didn 't really do anything to help. I give her props for that. It 's not her fault, she 's just a kid. The kitchen seemed to cause the most confusion. I guess they are short staffed, but the experience would be much better if they organized the place better. It also shouldn 't take 30+ minutes to make gyro and shwarma. I can go to the Serop 's drive through here in Baton Rouge and get something more flavorful in 5 minutes. Which I am now probably going to do.
I would strongly recommend Audubon Physical Therapy to everyone. - Joyce McMurray
