Lobster Pot Restuarant - Mandeville

Charming little spot by the beach. The food is incredible!

Wow! This was the best meal we had in Jamaica, and one of the best I’ve ever experienced! The setting is absolutely stunning. The kids had a great time swimming and playing on the beach, and they really enjoyed the fries, jerk chicken, and festival. We savored the most delicious grilled fish and lobster, all topped with an incredible garlic sauce that was out of this world. It was such a memorable night!

We ordered the lobster rolls, which are quite different from the traditional New England style. These resemble fried Stromboli filled with lobster meat, spinach, and butter in a roux. The restaurant has a charming beach vibe and can accommodate around 20 people. The bar is conveniently located next to the store, just a short walk away. As is often the case in Jamaica, good food takes some time to prepare. Cheers and enjoy your meal!

The food was great. We both had the garlic lobster and it was on the point. The food was very seasoned. The atmosphere is top-tier as it is directly on the beach, so there is a view of the beach and all the advantages of direct access to the beach. You can dip your feet while waiting for your good food or go to a beach. There is a bar next door, which also sells drinks. The prices in this restaurant were reasonable and about what was expected for lobster. The portion size was good. Overall a positive experience and I would definitely try other things on the menu.
