I was at the front of the line for a first-come, first-served sale when a security guard, who was unprofessional, insisted that I move to the back of the line for no apparent reason. As a result, I couldn't get the shoes I wanted and was forced to leave. They made up various excuses, and because of this experience, I won’t be returning and cannot recommend this place.

I've been particularly interested in the Chanel Wallet on Chain (WOC) in black caviar leather with gold hardware. I recently found out that they've changed the snap closure to a magnetic one, which is harder to open and close. With my birthday coming up soon, I really want this bag! They only receive a few pairs at a time, and they sell out within hours. I've been checking in for a few weeks, and the sales associate took my number, promising to text me when they come in, but I had no luck. On Tuesday, January 18th, I decided to visit the store as soon as it opened. Jane, an amazing sales associate, took my number that morning and called me around noon to let me know they had received a shipment and that I should come in right away. I rushed to the store, but it was first come, first serve with no holds allowed. When I arrived about 15 minutes later, the line was out the door, but thankfully, Jane let me in through the side entrance. The store was bustling, and bags were flying off the shelves—it was quite the scene! Long story short, it turned out to be my lucky day, and I made my first purchase at this store. I absolutely love the bag! I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and I’m very grateful to my husband for the beautiful gift and to Jane from Chanel for her assistance. As for the Hirshleifers Loyalty Program, it’s structured so that you earn 1 point for every $750 spent within a 12-month period, and after earning 7 points, you receive a $500 gift certificate. I think I’ll pass on that for now.
Horribly ran store, called them this morning to ask if they had this fear of god essentials hoodie and matching pants and they said they do. Proceeded to drive 2 and a half hours to this trash store for them to tell me they don't carry the hoodies. Wish they would have told me that before I drove all this way. I'm a client at many high end stores in Manhattan and the way this store acts is absolutely disgusting. Wouldn't recommend anyone shopping here.
Honestly don 't think I 'll ever go to the Americana again . Went there for the first time in 2 years wanted to look at the saint laurent bags while i was in the shoe department. They had roped off the area told us we couldn 't go that way had to leave the store and go 2 doors down. We get there another rope and a little extra space to get through so we walk in. I 'm not even looking for 2 seconds and some women walks up to me Um excuse me is anyone helping you ? I 'm like no she goes how did you get in here ? I 'm like this entrance she goes oh no you can go that way you have to wait on a virtual line for 45 min and you need someone to personally assist you I 'm like we 're just browsing why do i need someone to assist me and why do i need to wait on a line to go in a store there 's barely anyone in here she goes oh cause of covid like hello its almost 2 years later after covid . I have to wait on a virtual line to look at a bag ? Are you joking me ? And making me feel like some criminal interrogating me on how i need someone to assist me ? What a joke. I 'll go to Saks next time thanks .
