O'malley's Alley - Manhattan

This place bills itself as an Irish pub, but it’s a shame they don’t serve Magners and only offer Strongbow. As a bar, it has a good atmosphere, drinks, and service, but it feels more like a typical bar than a traditional Irish pub. It’s misrepresented more than anything. Food: 4/5.

5/5, I absolutely loved this bar! The dips were delicious and the drinks were affordable. The "atomic balls" were a beautiful treat as well. Service was also fantastic, 5/5!

I would rate the service a zero if I could. There were fewer than 50 people in the bar, and with four staff members behind the bar, it still took 15 minutes to get a beer.

Tried to order a couple of beers at outside patio on a Saturday night after waiting in line for about 15 minutes. After ordering and handing bartender my debit card the he said to us “it’s cash only can’t you read?!” Very rudely and pointed to a small sign. I explained how the sign was difficult to read and he continued to berate us. It was packed and busy so I can understand the frustration of this bartender however there was no reason for him to treat us like we were stupid. We are not from Manhattan, and did not feel very welcomed.

We only visited the front part of the bar. The atmosphere was very inviting. The staff was great.
