Írjon visszajelzéstOur family visited for breakfast and it was amazing. We arrived just after opening and the owner gave us a heads up that it would be about at 25min wait (he was the only one working the kitchen). I’m so glad we stuck around. Food was amazing, service was amazing, atmosphere was amazing!
What a wonderful Little place. I don’t recommend on a super hot day because it seems they don’t have air conditioning. It’s a very old building so it’s understandable but the decor is simple and it feels like you are just in someone’s house. Lol We ordered the quiche and the traditional breakfast. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the quiches was a bit small but perfect for a light lunch (which was what we were going for), the sausage Patties are hand formed and very savory. The iced sweet tea was perfectly balanced. The owner was our server and he was so very kind and accommodating. Checked on us often and was insistent on everything being perfect. We sat by the window so we could see Manitou life as we ate. Such a nice little visit.
Looks cute and sounds good. It was terrible. A one man show so service was very slow. He seemed and smelled drunk and seemed like he was going to fall over. Got two of our orders completely wrong. My mom ordered an egg salad sandwich with fruit. She got fried eggs, sausage and fruit. The fruit tasted fermented and he did refund us $5 for the bad fruit. He brought the egg salad sandwich which wasn’t mixed together well and basically sliced hard boiled eggs on bread. I ordered an omelette with mushrooms and avocado. I got an omelette with red and green peppers. When I told him it was wrong and what it should be, he asked me rudely what I wanted and I said I wanted mushrooms and avocados so he brought me a small bowl with them in it. Didn’t bother to offer to remake the omelette. I probably would not have had him remake it if he asked because we had already been there for so long but an offer would have been nice. I hate peppers so picked at the eggs. The biscuit was dry and tasteless. Mushrooms did not taste right and avocados were a little dried out. My kids ordered pancakes and a quesadilla which they did eat and liked them ok. Would not recommend. Not worth the $60.
Stopped in on the 4th of July right at open after hiking The Incline. Atmosphere was nice and peaceful. Breakfast food was amazing. Service was being ran by a 1 man show and he didn't miss a beat. Great place to grab a bite or multiple.
Quaint little restaurant close to the Incline. We had an AMAZING post climb breakfast. I HIGHLY recommend!
