Tower Tavern - Manitowoc

Go elsewhere...the manager (Justin) is about as unprofessional as it gets. First off he doesn 't know how to defuse a potentially physical altercation within his bar as the manager and chooses to let a bartender in training take care of it all, even after they 've done what they 're told and the situation is still escalating out of their hands...be a man and do your job, don 't wait for it to go to the extreme like he was waiting for. Second of all, he spends most of his time pissing and moaning or trying to flirt around than taking care of paying customers. I walked in and sat down, he refused to pour me a lemon drop because it was too much work and claimed that I said I was done drinking for the night....I had just gotten there and wasn 't anywhere beforehand. He then continued to allow the other bartender to scream at me saying have a real f*cking shot like a real man or get out . SUPER PROFESSIONAL. you 're bartenders. I didn 't pick this job for you, you did. If you can 't handle it, scoot boot. Don 't treat paying customers like trash, especially regulars. Terrible attitude, terrible service. 0/10 would not recommend going here, especially if Justin is in.

Tower is awful if you're hungry or want your drink refilled. I won't be going back there. Why would anyone, when there is a bar that serves food and drinks on every corner? The ambiance sucks, unless you like watching everyone get their food and drinks before you. Come on Tower, it's time to do some house cleaning.

Cute place with an updated decor. Our first server at the bar was not the brightest and made crappy mixed drinks. Our second sever named Bill or Ted, cannot remember which but we joked about the movie. He provided great service. There is a little open kitchen and our food was made fresh. The pizza burger and mushroom Swiss burger were really good and cooked just right. The sour cream fries were tasty! And you cannot beat the prices! Two burgers, the daily special and a side of mushrooms and fries for three people was only $21.00. When I am in town I'll be back.

Tower is a great place for lunch. Waitress are friendly and food is good. They have daily specials. Go Monday for the half pound hamburger.

The restaurant was bustling at 5:30 PM, with every table occupied and just one seat available at the bar. However, as soon as 6 PM came and happy hour concluded, the crowd began to thin out. I enjoyed the soup and the bratwurst/hamburger combo. The bartender was pleasant and attentive.
