Wing Lee Take Out - Manotick

I moved to Riverside South/Manotick 20 years ago and have been a regular customer at this restaurant for at least once a month. Although the prices have gone up over the years, the quality of the food has remained consistently great and offers good value for money. My go-to dishes are the Cantonese chow mein, General Tso's chicken, and Szechuan beef. I can confidently say that anyone who tries these dishes will enjoy them.

I have been a regular at Wing Lee's for the past 2 months. I usually skip the sweet and sour chicken balls as they are too greasy, opting instead for the large portions of lemon chicken. The garlic prawns are always a treat, melting in your mouth, although they were unavailable last Friday, which is a rarity. On my first visit, I tried the Canton chow mein and found it to be absolutely delicious. Overall, the food at Wing Lee's is consistently enjoyable, with generous portions.

We recently ordered takeout from Dang Wing Lee in November and it was the best we've ever had. However, on New Year's Eve, there was a 1.5-hour delay in picking up our order. We paid $75 and unfortunately, the food was terrible. It seemed rushed and was undercooked. The spring rolls were large but filled with undercooked and hollow ingredients. The flavors were still delicious but the overall experience was disappointing. We'll give them another try in the new year, hoping for a better outcome.

A christmas order eve dinners of them for our big group. probably their 2nd most bustling night of the year for them, but the order was punctual and the eating was excellent.

Always good food well priced and kind staff i am glad I found this little gem I drive well out of my way for it
