Írjon visszajelzéstWhile on a road trip from upstate New York back to Washington DC, we were in need of a place to stop for a meal. We ordered shrimp and broccoli with garlic sauce, spring rolls, and steamed broccoli. The food was surprisingly delicious, especially considering we found this gem in the middle of Pennsylvania. The service was great, earning a 5 out of 5 rating. The atmosphere was rated a 4 out of 5. The meal was a take-out lunch and cost between $10-$20 per person. Overall, a fantastic dining experience.
I must say, this is hands down the best Chinese food I have ever tasted. Whether it's a small takeout spot or a fancy restaurant, this place outshines them all. The ribs are perfectly sweet and loaded with Chinese 5 spice, making them irresistibly delicious. The combination containers are filled to the brim and not skimping on portions. The General Tso's chicken is crispy and coated in a tasty sauce. The fried rice is full of fresh vegetables. I make it a point to visit every time I'm in the area.
The flavors at this local restaurant are on the bland side. Chinese restaurants in the area tend to serve larger portions of less flavorful food. Many dishes lack Chinese pepper oil or mustard. The service is somewhat robotic and the atmosphere is set up more for take-out orders. Prices are fair, with an average cost of $10-20 per person for dinner. Ratings for food, service, and atmosphere all sit at a 3 out of 5.
Don't underestimate this restaurant. It may be a dive, but I really liked the food! They even delivered on my request for extra spice. The front staff were also very friendly, which was a nice bonus.
