Champs Chicken - Manteo

This is a great store to stop and get a quick bite to eat breakfast or lunch. Best breakfast biscuits and great fried chicken. Friendly staff. They are a 5 star

The store itself has plenty to offer, and the staff are great, the champ's chicken I know from others who have ate it is good, but a word of advise which I should had practiced myself, DO NOT PURCHASE food when there a hour or less from shutting it down, it was tough, hard to chew, and though I could taste a good flavor if not able to eat, not worth buying... lesson learned, I will try again, but I will go during prime hours, when food is freshly cooked. So not really a insult, just common sense, that if its been sitting there a bit and there cleaning up to close it, dont eat, wait til the next day. I do look forward to trying again, during lunch hours. And I'm certain it will be good.

Excellent service and tasty food! The friendly cashier even uses half dollar coins for change, which is quite a rarity. The staff puts in a lot of effort to provide a great breakfast and lunch menu. I’ll definitely be back!

I love chicken, and I must say, this place has an incredible supply of it! I enjoy having chicken when I go fishing, so I don’t even need to stop anywhere else.
