Benihana Maple Grove, Mn

I likely won't be returning to Benihana again. The service charge is exorbitant, our food was cooked incorrectly (the chef didn't even confirm the temperature before cooking, resulting in a medium rare dish instead of the requested one), and it took forever to receive my drinks. Prices are going up, customer service is lacking, and the additional service charge is just ridiculous. This is not a place I will be visiting again.

Only been to this location a few times great service plus they took a group picture for us I will come back again.

Chef was not skilled and threw food all over. Threw the food on the plate and in the sauce on purpose

Our reservation was at 6pm. We got sat around 6:05 but then didn't get our drink orders in until 6:15ish. We didn't get our drinks for another 15 minutes and didn't get our order placed until 6:45. We had to order double drinks because it took so long to get them. Our server was doing the best he could and you could see in his face he was overwhelmed. The chef came out and he honestly seemed intoxicated. He was stumbling, gave someone the wrong food, and didn't put on the show we usually see. I've been there more times than I can count and it was the worst experience we've had. I also had a $30 off birthday coupon and it wasn't applied. I love Benihana's and we will be back but this was just a bad experience this time.

Chef not very friendly. Lots of butter on everything, he must like butter.
