Baraona's Baking Co - Maple Heights

The Cassata cake was perhaps the best cake I ever had. baraonas has been in business since 1949. I'm a west sider, we have bakers on the west side. baraonas is similar, they have cakes for celebration and individual cookies etc.

We have been getting cassata cake, turnovers and donuts from here for a long time, delicious every time.

First off, let me say that the cakes here are absolutely second to NONE! The problem is the attitude you get from some of the young ladies that work here. They are downright rude, and have NO business even working in customer service let alone taking phone calls of current or potential customers. This alone has caused me to explore other bakeries. Unfortunately, well, see my first statement…I guess there will be no cassata cakes this birthday…

We went to a 90th Birthday party this weekend. The Italian ribbon cake was by far the most delicious cake I have ever eaten! I’m only sad I didn’t try the 2 types of Casatta cake that they had offered they looked fabulous! I was just too full of the 2 pieces of other cake I ate lol. I plan to order cupcakes for my daughters baby shower. Can’t wait?

Best bakery around cassata cakes are the best thing ever but everything I have tasted is great ..!
