Írjon visszajelzéstWifey and I are tired of the typical Vancouver diet consisting of sushi, pho and bibimbap. Did a quick google search on google for good eats around maple ridge area and sure enough this place came up. The place is let us say ?a hole in a wall.? It?s squashed between 2 establishments and honestly you could easily miss this restaurant if you aren?t looking for it. The restaurant is quite small but clean. We got turned off earlier as nobody was eating there, we conjured up the courage to go back in and we were greeted by Don Fito. Super friendly guy and made us feel like we are eating in his own home. Next to him cooking is his attentive wife Stella. We ordered a few authentic Mexican/Salvadoran food and our tastebuds took us away from the lower mainland. All of a sudden I feel like I lived the life of don Fito and his wife. The food was fresh, made in house with humble ingredients. Everything was nicely seasoned. I have to say their burrito is my favourite. This place is making magic with their food. A true gem and a new fave Mexican restaurant! Will be back again for sure.
Good food owners are Salvadoran and my mom and I had a nice time talking in Spanish with them! Food is good and homey. Some may say it?s a little bland because it doesn?t have super bright tastes but perfect on a cold rainy day! The Sopa de Res was really good and homey with meat that fell apart beautifully!
My first try for Salvadoran food. Pupusas are yummy, I'm not a fan of beans (I thought it's the same as baked beans! and asked for it to be reduced but the fried beans tasted so good and it matched well with Horchata! Will be back to try other Mexican food!
Cute little family owned place with good, authentic Mexican food. We really enjoyed the Cola Champagne drink for the very first time it tastes like Coke orange Fanta mixed. The nachos were good. I got the Huevos Rancheros but they did not look like how I expected them to so I don?t know if I?m used to the westernized version and this is how the dish traditionally looks? But anyways, wasn?t too big of a fan of that dish. My partner got the enchiladas, which were okay. Overall, the food was good and fairly priced.
Great Salvadorian and mexican food located in Maple ridge. Very friendly owner and reasonable prices. Had the horchata, steak fajitas and mole enchiladas. Everything was home made and the salsa was amazing. We'll be coming back to try their Salvadorian breakfasts or great looking soups. Highly recommend for reasonably priced home made food.
