Applebee's Grill - Maplewood

The staff is friendly and the food is consistently good. I've only visited this place about six times, but I've never encountered any issues. While the drinks aren't very strong, you shouldn't expect them to be overly potent. Overall, it’s a pleasant dining experience!

It's Applebee's, and while I appreciate their efforts to offer lower-priced menu items to remain competitive, I'm still not entirely satisfied with their cost-to-value ratio.

I placed a carside to-go order for a 6 oz sirloin, along with broccoli and fries. Unfortunately, everything was cold when I received it, and the steak was barely cooked in the middle even though I ordered it medium.

We walked in on a Saturday, and the restaurant wasn't too crowded, so we were seated right away. The wait for our food wasn't long either. The hostess was incredibly friendly and provided plenty of suggestions for customizing our meals.

After reading some negative reviews about poor customer service, I opted for takeout this time. I found the images on the online menu and in the advertisements to be somewhat misleading; they made the food look better than it actually is. However, the food was generally decent and consistent, and the appetizers were quite good. I placed my order 40 minutes before I intended to pick it up and specified my arrival time online. Unfortunately, I arrived only 5 minutes later because of traffic on Hanley Road. Even though there were only a few customers in the restaurant at the time, I had to wait another 5 minutes at the bar area before finally receiving my order. It felt a bit slow for the food to be ready; I’m not sure if that was due to service issues or kitchen delays.
