Obie's West - Maquoketa

Large homemade French pommes and buffalo chips. If you are a Philly cheese steak and bread-denderloin fan, you would like to add Obie’s to your list of places to eat. We stayed here on the way to Maquoketa Caves State Park and we are glad we did. Big little hometown restaurant.

The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very friendly, and welcoming. The food was excellent. They had several items to choose from on their menu, so there should be something to please everyone. Yes, I would highly recommend this place.

As a newcomer to town, I found my cheers at Obies. After work every day are a great group of people, having a drink or two before heading home. The drinks prices are great, especially during happy hour. The bartenders, are exceptional and make you feel at home.

This was a good stop for dinner. Tacos are crazy big and delicious. Never had a taco like it before. Fried pickles and dip were super good too. Good drinks and good service to top it off. Just know that it is cash only.

The tacos were fantastic as always. I experienced no bad service or disappointing meals. I live an hour away, and Obie is the only place I choose to eat when I'm passing through!
