Mabel knows what she serves, with professionality and smile. The food fresh and very tasty, the price very fair.

I went with several colleagues on a local's recommendation. Those who had shellfish stews loved them. My fish (broiled barbed hake) was boring until i spread a few s spoonfuls of a friend s stew on it. Miranda was o praised. Wine selection is limited. Dessert ice creams and chocolate mousse were good but clearly come from a store in individual plastic containers. No reservations, opens at 8

Visited for dinner. Got there early to avoid to wait and line.Place looks old, waiters dressed all differently and old.Menu is old style, with foods, hard to find in other placer. Is a Deja Vu.Order Mineral Water, and was offered a 1 and a half litter plastic bottle.Prices are fine, but the quality, first ordered Asado, and send it back, was hard.Ordered NY steak and was great.On tap, they do not accept credit cardsIs not a nice proposal.

Visited again a year later, seafood especially prawns are wonderful. Still don't like the refusal to take reservations, and I don't do "Queueing"!!! (But I am not from Argentina,)Very efficient service, still find the "Madame" at the entrance somewhat forbidding, but she is lovely if you chat with her. One of the most popular places in MDP, with good reason, pity that they don't take reservations.

Immensely popular place, reservations not accepted. Go early!! Very old- fashioned, as are the delightful waitresses, and "Madame" at the door.....do not mess with her!!! (Actually, she may look forbidding, but she is very pleasant.)Food comes in enormous portions, and is superb, my prawns in garlic sauce was almost sensational.Great value, delicious food. The back room is not as nice as the main area.
