Fish Faze - Maramarua

By far the best fish and chips we have ever had in the north island! If you want fresh kai moana then Fish Faze is where you need to be. Cant beat the service, mean as sounds and the kewl spacie games are just another bonus.

A gem in the highway... It's really a play of words. Highways do not usually have jam, neither eateries worth mentioning. However, Fish Faze is an exceptionally great eateries I highly recommended. Another discovery that was accident... My wife and I were taking a trip and travelling along the highway where I needed to use a comfort room. We usually went to a café along the highway, but it was closed on that day. We drove a little further and found a little store that sells chicken, but the lady was very unfriendly. That was where we went to the next door, Fish Faze. I am not particularly a fish and chip person, so I ordered the Fat Boy burger, and without asking, the owner informed me that the toilet was right behind. I was thankful. Therefore, after relieving myself, I ordered the Fish Faze special. I was then invited to the next room, full of arcade machines, and played for free while waiting for my food to be ready. Plus, there was a jukebox!Both owners were really friendly to us, and we felt welcoming When we got our food, we left the place... my wife started to feed me while I drove. And the food was delicious, even for the fish and chips. The fries were great and crispy. The battered muscles were amazing, and the fish was one of the best I ever had. Then the burger... out of the world good. Just look at the meat... the prices were acceptable. We definitely would not mind driving all the way to just having a meal here. 30th April 2023 We were back again, and I added one extra star for the service. It's a long drive from church... 34 mins... but it's all worth it when family enjoys the food and the whole setup. Plus, the milkshake on the weekend is only $2.50. Like any Singaporean would say... WAHLAU!

Best fish and chips to stop in for. Fresh fish the chips cooked perfectly. 1 of my faves to stop in to on the way home. Service is fantastic place is always clean.

I stopped at Fish Faze Maramarua tonight because I missed both breakfast and lunch today. I ordered 2 pieces of Gurnard and a scoop of chips. See the photo for the very generous meal I received, with a slice of lemon for the fish and a small punnet of tomato sauce for the chips. By the time I finished this delicious meal I was full to the brim. Definitely value for money.

Stopped by before heading back to the city and so glad we did! It’s a small hidden gem with free arcade and a jukebox. We met Shane who was so helpful and friendly. Food was fresh and delicious, especially with the in house aioli! Can’t remember what we ordered anymore but see picture for review. We finished off with free ice cream for dessert and we are still dreaming about it! Thank you for the memorable service and food!
