Core Kitchen Wine - Marana

Celebrated 25th Anniversary with friends and the evening was beautiful, food was very good and sat outside under the stars for great ambiance. Service wasn't bad but could have been a little more attentive as the restaurant was not busy. But the Core Kitchen made the night very special and it was appreciated.

One of the best dining experiences we've had in our 50 years of marriage, which is what we were celebrating at the Ritz-Carlton. Everything about the evening was perfect. Jaren was a very pleasant and professional server whose personality shone through without getting in the way of his job. The food was outstanding, both the filet and the accompaniments (truffle-topped Parmesan French fries and glazed carrots that tasted like candy). Take your wallet but be prepared for a very memorable dining experienc! Highly recommended.

The quality and value of this beautiful restaurant have significantly declined. I paid $40 for an entree that consisted of just two medium scallops, accompanied by overly vinegary grapes and raisins topped with turnip shavings. The waiter mentioned that it was an appetizer portion, but I should have inquired more about what that actually meant, as some appetizers can be substantial. The food quality overall, including the dessert we tried—the molten chocolate cake—was decent but not exceptional, making the high prices hard to justify. While the bonbon presentation at the end of the meal was enjoyable, it didn’t compensate for the disappointment we felt about the value of my husband’s tenderloin dinner as well. We were ready to pay a premium for a fine dining experience, but we expected the quality to match the price.

Top notch. A rather jaded diner, I can not fault the Core on anything. food choices are good, preparation is excellent, our server Marcus outstanding, other wait and host staff were welcoming. For me, it proves that if you want the best, you pay for it.

Excellent food and service. The prices are quite high, so be sure to bring plenty of cash.
