We were expecting maybe some Jimmy Buffett, reggae music, etc, but not at all, they were playing today’s top hits. Food was ok, drinks were good.I think they just changed owners or management. We will never go back.
We came here for the first time while visiting Icon park orlando. Food is ok, nothing special. Place is cozy. We still enjoyed our visit here having an afternoon snacks and cold drinks.
What a gem right here in Orlando! We went for a fix of the famous Sloppy Joe's Fries, that we first had at the original Sloppy Joe's in Key West. They are not on the menu but all you have to do is ask. The savory Sloppy Joe mix covered in cheese is to die for!The addition to the fries we decided to indulge in the one-pound BLT, a colossal masterpiece that was delish! Not only was it massive, but the bacon was cooked perfectly and the bread was perfect to hold that crazy amount of bacon! It's wonderful to have a closer option in Orlando to satisfy our cravings for the famed Sloppy Joe's Fries. The Key West vibe in the decor added charm to the experience. The atmosphere transported us back to the laid-back, coastal ambiance of the Keys. The servers were exceptionally nice, contributing to the overall positive impression of the place. Their friendliness added a welcoming touch to our visit, making us feel right at home. It's always a pleasure when the staff goes above and beyond to enhance the dining experience.Without a doubt, we'll be returning for more. This Orlando location has successfully captured the essence of the iconic Sloppy Joe's experience from Key West, offering a convenient and delicious option for those of us who call Orlando home. Here's to many more visits and savoring the flavors that make Sloppy Joe's a timeless favorite!Parking: The parking garage is free for the top floors but by the hour for the first 3 floors, conveniently located near Sloppy Joe's
We ate here because the kids were hungry and the other places nearby had long waits...no wait here. The food was overall pretty good but service was not attentive and we had to stop our server if we needed anything and the place was only half full. While most places offer live music Sloppy Joe's offered a live version of the band playing in the Key West location instead but it was muted and they play their own music...very confused why they live stream something you can't hear? So go here if decent food and a radio is what you want, they could make it a much better experience without much more effort though. Next time I will buy the kids a bag of chips and wait elsewhere.
Asked for Jell-O shots at the front, the manager was super sweet and guided us to the bar. We were at the bar for about 10-12 minutes with no greeting. The young lady at the bar, she was young and a brunette worked today, Sunday 03/24 at 6PM. did not greet us. She was making other drinks and completely ignored us while making other drinks, I used to be a bartender and I’ve never seen that. Usually, the bartender will multitask and try to be as quick as possible. She was being EXTREMELY slow. I told her “ Hey, we just want jello shots. “ They usually keep their Jell-O shots already made in the fridge, she just had to grab them and put them on the table. She responded with no apology or empathy, she was like “ Well I’m with another table, so. “ and I said “ Oh alright, well we will have to just leave “ she said, verbatim, “ Okay BYE. “ in a super rude tone. I turned around and asked for her name, she rolled her eyes and said, “ Sorry I don’t have one. “Luckily, I caught her manager as I was walking by and he was super empathetic. I don’t mind waiting, but her responses and lack of attention were extremely rude and unprofessional. I am a regular and usually come every Sunday for jello shots. I would have waited longer had she responded with empathy. It was 100% a customer service issue. I don’t think I’ve had been treated that badly in a WHILE. Highly highly feel disrespected and disappointed with her responses and the customer service. We went to Tin Roof after which was far busier and we still were treated super kindly and the bartender was attentive and high beat. Please re-evaluate your staff. That was unacceptable and should lead to disciplinary action.
