Írjon visszajelzéstWe dined at this restaurant on steak and ale night and unfortunately had to send our steak back. The replacement steak we received was not much better.
have their mailing address listed, but not their physical address here. It is important to mention that they are only open for a few months out of the year.
This was one of our two best restaurants in Nova Scotia. Everything was fresh and well prepared. We had mussels for appetizers and lobster for dinner. Our desserts were also first rate. We had excellent service to go along with a perfect dining experience.
The rooms at this resort are great! The beds are comfortable and everything you need is there. The view on the porch of the ocean is breathtaking, especially at sunset.
This area is not a place for food snobs - which we sadly have realized we are. People come here for the amazing scenery and food seems to be lower on the list of priorities. And, just because you are in a place where there is a lot of fresh fish available, it doesn't mean that restaurants know how to prepare it well. After telling the hosts of our B and B about our disappointing dinner the night before and the lack of choices and variety in general, they recommended Island Sunset. We were not disappointed - friendly service, beautiful and tasty salads, charbroiled salmon cooked perfectly and my seafood pasta was excellent - the sauce was light and flavorful, two words that rarely are rarely paired with the with Alfredo! I am always hesitant when it comes to blueberry pie - having experienced too many with canned, syrupy fruit in pre-made shells. This was delicious! Perfect, flaky pastry with small, tightly packed blueberries, just sweet enough and accompanied by a scoop of quality vanilla ice cream. To me 4 stars is the 'A' - 5 is for extraordinary. While not inexpensive, we felt we got what we paid for - an A dinner.
