Gilchrist - MARGATE CITY

The best pancakes in south jersey hands down! not many people know about this location in margate, so this is usually less busy than the others. still the same gilchrist quality and the staff are all very nice. I'll take my mom here all the time!

Good breakfast. Prices have gone up but that's no surprise Omelet was just the way I like it. Good HOT coffee

2/20/22: We ordered regular kaiser Breakfast sandwiches to go, nothing spectacular all, the prices for them are not worth it but getting a breakfast platter is a better buy. You don't even get a coffee or juice with the sandwich and it's $6 and change. Spent almost $15 for two Sandwiches, boo

The restaurant has a simple, old-fashioned vibe. While the food overall is pretty average or even below average—like the home fries, which were large, dry, and lacking flavor—THE PANCAKES are absolutely amazing. They make the trip worthwhile every single time. They are thin, slightly crispy, and have just the right amount of saltiness at the edges. Simply exquisite!
