Ohhh Myyyyy Their cupcakes/cake are amazing and sweet fun service too! I’m new to MDR and have been looking for a bakery to fill my sweet tooth craving. I bought an assortment to try and I’m hooked.Icing in the middle ?! Oh so good! I’d add a picture but I already ate them all.

This was my first time visiting a Susie's cake. The chocolate chip cookie was really good highly recommend! I wanted to try a cupcake and tried the Uncle Nearest 1884 Whiskey Vanilla cupcake and the whiskey was so strong it overpowered the flavor of the cupcake and it was not enjoyable was unable to eat it. I will definitely go back for the chocolate chip cookies.

They have a menu board by the window listing the daily flavors. I tried the Susie's Nutty, which consists of two peanut butter cookies with a creamy peanut butter filling. I appreciated that it wasn't overly sweet and that the cookies were soft-baked. The staff was friendly and packed up my order quickly.

I am giving them 1 star. Customer service is very important, as well as attention to detail. I specifically asked for 4 chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting, because that is what my grandson loves. I assumed that they were placing what I ordered in a box. When I reach the house and opened the box, what I found was 4 chocolate cupcakes with orange frosting. I had traveled too far into Los Angeles, to take the cupcakes back to the Marina Del Rey. I was beyond disappointed.?My suggestion is that the shop allow the customer to see the order before they seal it up, to ensure that it is correct.*follow-up: my grandson wouldn’t touch those cupcakes, so it was a total waste of money. I have been a Susie cakes customer from the very beginning, but I’m done. From here on out when I want cupcakes I’ll go to “Hotcakes” on Centinela. Their customer service is excellent, and you can view them putting your order together, because they no longer have covid restrictions.

I visited this restaurant based on a recommendation, and I was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was very clean and inviting, with a delightful aroma in the air. I tried the carrot cake, which was the best I’ve ever had—moist with a wonderful texture and a perfect blend of sweet spices. The cream cheese frosting was just right—not overly sweet or heavy—and it was enhanced by some roasted pecans. Plus, Sol was incredibly kind and helpful during my visit.
