This restaurant is fantastic. The food is delicious and authentic Chinese cuisine. I will definitely be returning. The owner is very friendly and the service is excellent.

I placed an order for several items for pickup at a restaurant, as I usually do when ordering from Makkoli Chinese Restaurant. This time, I tried two new things, the Victor and the Sheer Ripen. The food was decent, but the Victor wasn't that great and the short ribs were overcooked. My 14-year-old son tried it and didn't like it, and when my husband tasted it, he agreed that the meat wasn't good. I contacted the restaurant and they asked what I would prefer as a replacement. I asked for sesame chicken without rice or trim because I had already ordered a quarter of rice. The staff member informed me that there was a price difference between the two items, but I was willing to pay the extra 30 cents. When we arrived to pick up the replacement, the staff questioned if we had really eaten the original dish. Despite explaining that some had been sampled and discarded, they still charged me an additional 95 cents for the sesame chicken. I decided not to argue and threw the food away. The customer service was lacking and I have decided not to return to the restaurant. I used to spend $30 to $50 there 3 to 4 times a month, but now I feel I would have received better service at a fast food restaurant for much less money. It's a shame that such treatment is acceptable in this day and age. Goodbye to Makkoli Chinese Restaurant, I found a better and cheaper alternative for my meals!

They are the worst. Don't come here. if they do not want to get sick and want to be treated badly, they do not business with them

This Chinese takeout restaurant is far superior to others. They offer clean, fresh, and delicious food at very reasonable prices. The meat-filled dumplings in their wonton soup are clearly homemade and absolutely delicious. I can't wait to try their steamed dumplings next time.
