Steak'nshake - Marion

Dining area and bathroom were very clean. Food was perfectly cooked and, in my opinion, a great value. It needs something to learn the new kiosk ordering system, but it is not so difficult. Overall, I would give it an excellent rating.

My first and last trip here. Not too bad but not good either. I rememebered steak and shake as having good burgers. Maybe my memory is failing me. Or maybe Five Guys has ruined me for all others.

Wow, this place has taken a turn for the worse since the last time I was here. I don't know if it is just this location, or if this is a broader issue with the franchise, but I was unpleasantly surprised when we arrived. There was no one there to take my order no more wait staff. We were greeted with four automated order kiosks, one of which was our of order. The dining room had a changed seating layout, but no other updates the floor in particular looked worn, with broken tiles and a tired broken down feeling throughout. The food was quickly delivered, but was not up to the quality we had recalled. The fries weren't as crispy as I remember, and the chili was different as well. The burgers were as good as I remember, though. I understand the world has changed, competition is tough, supply chain issues are challenging, and finding people willing to work food service jobs is difficult as well. However, other restaurants have adapted in more acceptable ways. It may be a while before I return, at least for dine in service.

Very strange now I guess the increase in the minimum wage has an influence. There are no waiters anymore and NOBODY to take your order. It's all computerized. A person falls out of the food. But the Hamburgers were EXCELLENT!!

I drove through Drive Thru. The food had a funny taste. The frits lubricated as if they were roasted in old oil.
