Tacos Sonora - Mariposa

I'm glad we found tacos in Mariposa! The checkout was nice and the service was really fast. The tacos were a big size and the prices were decent. Recommend this Taco truck!

We stopped in Mariposa after leaving 49 and needed to stretch our legs and walk the dogs. Luckily we came across this Taco truck behind the museum. The staff was super friendly and they gave a homeless food and drink for free. We ordered a pastor Burrito and an Asada Burrito Supreme. Both came fast and for a little burrito, the pastor Burrito was a pretty good size. Only meat, cheese, onion and Zilantro. The pastor was super beautiful and almost a bit sweet, but perfectly balanced with the onion and Cilantro. The Asada burrito supreme definitely lived to his name. The hot salsa left a beautiful slinging spices, which was occasionally cooled by a bite with acid cream. The Asada was also delicious, but not as good as the pastor. I'm glad we stopped here and walked around to find this place.

Really good Carnitas Tacos. Authentic Mexican cuisine.

There are limited lunch options here in town, but plenty of Mexican options. This place is EASILY the best-tasting, most authentic Mexican food around, and they have the best prices. No other Mexican place comes close to the flavor.

Look, it's a taco food truck. With all the accolades of this place we went in with high expectations and they delivered. Got the carnitas, al pastor and carne asada tacos. They were excellent. My partner got the chicken and cheese burrito which she also said was great. The rice and beans on the other hand was just okay. Not standout great but just what you'd expect. All in all, worth visiting.
