Yunshang Rice Noodle (first Markham Place) Yún Shàng Mǐ Xiàn

On a chilly winter evening, a warm bowl of noodle soup was just what we needed! The noodles are short strands of rice noodles, and we sampled several options: the original broth, tomato soup, and the sour fish with spicy base, catering to a party of 10 on Sunday night. One standout dish was the smoked pork intestine, as well as the chicken wings; both were packed with flavor. The original broth was delightful and satisfying. I definitely plan to return!

The dish consists of a pot of boiling broth, into which you add rice noodles and an assortment of colorful ingredients. The noodles are robust and freshly cooked, providing a satisfying texture. The soup stays hot, ensuring that diners can enjoy it to the last spoonful—even if it means working up a bit of a sweat while finishing the bowl! It’s a fun and cozy meal, especially perfect for the chilly winter season. We tried both the original broth and the tomato soup options. The original broth is smoother and more subtle in flavor, whereas the tomato soup offers a bolder taste. Overall, it’s a delightful experience that captures the essence of Yunnan cuisine.

This is a fantastic place for noodle soup. Their rice noodles are soft and flavorful in the broth, with plenty of options to choose from. The service is quick and attentive. I tried their new menu item, the fish and salted vegetable noodle soup, and I definitely plan to return.

We've eaten this afternoon. my man asked the waitress in that “,您οηείος吗ς吗ς” the waitress who speaks mandarin did not even stop at our table and responded to the recipe “different!” with this type of service / Attitude/manner; no doubt they have the lowest scrutiny among all locations, and I have to tell them happy with this staff working at their location.

My friend and I went to the FMP Yunshang rice noodles today, we ordered 2 noodles and two sides, also asked for 1 bowl of extra noodles to shareAfter the meal we asked for take out boxes to pack the leftover snacks and leftover soup homeThe waitress told us that we asked for additional noodles so we weren't allowed to take the noodles soup home. She said we could only pack the soup and that we had to literally strain the noodles out of the soup and leave the noodles hereIts not like we ordered crazy amount of extra noodles. We also ordered two sides too so its not just noodles! Like come on now...
