Írjon visszajelzéstDuring my trip to Jersey for a family business, I decided to grab lunch at Joe's Pizzeria. They offer a great selection of pizzas that are perfect for sharing. The pizza was absolutely delicious, loaded with cheese and full of flavor. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely stop by again when I'm in the area.
We had lunch on Monday afternoon and were surprised to find only one other couple in the restaurant. That should have clued us in on what we were about to experience. We had heard good things about the pizza, but it was anything but good. The Sicilian disc I ordered was completely raw; the dough was undercooked and lacked any flavor in both the Sicilian layer and the regular crust. When I expressed my concerns about the undercooked pizza, the manager's response was to say he would taste it himself. I couldn’t help but wonder if he thought I wasn’t capable of telling if the pizza was undercooked. He never returned to share his findings, he never apologized, and he didn’t offer to remove it from the bill, even though I didn’t touch it. Throughout the experience, I remained extremely polite. The manager even shouted from the kitchen, asking if I wanted a replacement. When we settled the bill, the raw pizza was still charged to me. I had to argue with the cashier to get it removed. The manager was rude and questioned why we sat where we did, as if he didn't understand how seating assignments work. It felt like he was treating us like we were at some sort of pizza school. To make matters worse, the prices were outrageous and the service was dreadful. Oh, and don't get me started on the dirty cutlery! I would never return to this establishment and would advise others to stay away as well—unless you enjoy pizza that tastes like corrugated cardboard with ketchup on top. Overall, it was overrated and terrible.
We had excellent and friendly service! We ordered pizza, and it was delicious! Although we're not from this area (we're from Essex County), we will definitely return here if we're in the neighborhood again!
I stopped at lunch for TWO PLAIN slices the people were very nice, but I paid over $6 for two simple slices and gave them a tip that brought me to over $9, not even with a drink that is absurd I live at the jersey and not even the tourist areas on the boardwalk fees near it. The pizza was fine, but in any case needed to be cooked longer, that was my first time ever there and will be my last, you can decent pizza everywhere and much cheaper than this place.
Good food and large menu. Service is good as well. Nice dining room cozy atmosphere.
