Red Rooster - Maroondah

This is our neighborhood Red Rooster. We have been getting food from here every few weeks since they opened around 10 years ago. Whenever I ask my wife if she wants me to cook chicken tonight, the answer is always yes, so I head over to Red Rooster. None of the other Red Roosters compare to this one. The food is always juicy and delicious. I did have one experience where the food was a bit dry, but after talking to the manager, I haven't had any complaints since. It's the healthiest fast food option, so we usually get a Roast Dinner and a quarter chicken and chips to share, which is enough for us. We also get a 10% seniors discount and earn Red Royalty points for additional discounts. The staff is very friendly and efficient, especially James who has been there since the beginning.

I work near this restaurant and have always received great service from the staff. The service is quick and friendly. It's not too crowded during lunch hours.

This restaurant is not the worst I've been to. There are plenty of parking spots just off the highway. The service was okay, satisfactory. The food was hot. However, I still think it's overpriced.

The food is always succulent (ok, once I bought at and it was a bit dry, so I went over and chatted with the manager, and I've never had a complaint since). It's the healthiest of all the fast foods, so we are happy to buy a Roast Dinner and a quarter chicken and chips to share, which is plenty for us. We get seniors discount, and our Red Royalty points quickly add up for a further discount every few trips. Pretty good for a takeaway chain. The store is clean and tidy, staff are friendly enough. I've never had an issue with incorrect orders or yucky food.
