The Martinborough

There are very few menu options available at this restaurant, and the prices are too high for the quality of the food. Overall, the experience was just average.

I ordered the salmon for breakfast, but it was extremely dry and salty that I couldn't even stomach it. We also tried the brioche French toast, which was disappointingly soggy and inedible. The coffees were also not good. However, the restaurant was kind enough to remove these items from our bill since we didn't eat them. Despite this, we still ended up paying $80 for two breakfasts that were average at best and not worth the price. The overall experience was very disappointing. I would rate the service a 2 out of 5.

Poor service leftovers on tables while we were eating,we moved outside for a clean table, I was trying to get the gas heater going as it was a cold day when I was approached by who I believe was the owner with a very condescending attitude saying this is the staffs job...it sure is I wouldn't have to of if you had of done your job. So beautifully restored building. Warm and cosy, balcony room was amazing.
