This morning, around 8:15, I went through the drive-thru and mentioned the issue to Phil, hoping to get a replacement for the drinks. He asked if I still had the receipt, but I don’t keep receipts in my car to avoid clutter. When I told him I didn’t have one, he then asked if I had called in about the issue. I explained that I hadn’t. He responded, "Well, you’re supposed to call in. We can’t just have people coming through asking for free stuff." At that point, I decided to forget about the drinks and simply asked to order a sweet tea. However, he said he couldn’t process my order because he was at a different register and that I was holding up the line. Frustrated, I gave him a look, rolled up my window, and drove off to rejoin the drive-thru line. I found the encounter to be rude and unprofessional, and I plan to report him to the district manager. I support this business every day, and it’s disheartening to see the manager behave so poorly over just two drinks. Afterward, I asked the girl in the drive-thru for Phil’s name and told her how sorry I felt for her having to work with him. She looked back at me, smiled, and seemed to agree with my sentiment. This place needs a new general manager who truly cares about the customers.
Terrible experience! The fries were cold and not even filled properly. I recommend going somewhere else. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
I placed an order via the drive-thru and specifically requested sliced onions and pickles on my McChickens. When I returned to address the issue, the young man at the register got it wrong. The manager, Demetrius, then made a comment about us all being human, and while he had his back turned, a coworker asked him who he was rolling his eyes at while waiting for the onions and pickles. When he tried to be snarky, I reminded him that it was my time and gas that were being wasted. He should have been maintaining professionalism and supporting the new employee, rather than making comments. His attitude was unnecessary, and I could have easily responded with disrespect, but I chose not to.
