The Marulan Bakehouse

We had stayed the night in Goulburn and our eating experience there wasn't good but we wanted breakfast. As we were heading along the Hume anyway and we knew the Marulan Bakehouse has excellent pies & coffee we stopped there. I had the spinach & ricotta pastie. It was delicious! The filling is moist and the pastry is light and flaky. I was wishing I had bought 2. The coffee is one of the best on the Hume, very smooth and hot.

Friendly fast service, nice range of treats when you're on the go. Coffee nice also. Only a few tables inside but creates an intimate cosy feel.

Friendly service. Great coffee. Delicious custard tarts. Cute little town. 10 out of 10. Would recommend.

Loved it so much nicer than stopping at goulburn. Salad sandwiches yummy, staff friendly. Great for kids too

Seriously, don't stop at Goulburn this quiet little shopping strip has a hidden gem. The coffee is good and service excellent. A good range of sweet and savoury options. The pasties were tasty and the apple sponge and lamington with cream to die for. There is inside and outside seating which is also pet friendly. Park right at the door next door to chemist, post office and Newsagency. With petrol stations at either end of the township. I like Goulburn but this is my regular stop now between Canberra and Sydney.
