Something else than the quick selection of dishes on the highway café in Marulan seemed a good choice, especially after looking at the menu on Trip Advisor reality was very disappointing, with very basic choice that saw and tasted even more reason when... it came the service, while not unpleasant was indifferent will not visit again

Immersed on the street for lunch, ordered the lambry pie, was best pie I had ever had, so yummy and melted in the mouth, larger then a normal pie, obviously made at home, I will stop def here again, service was fast, although shop was a bit... eclectic, was worth the stop.

This was my preferred option to visit Marulan for the day to travel through with a friend. Explore the website that looks absolutely brilliant for food options. Reviewed in GoodFood with great photos the same as here. Arrived. No menu on...display outside what I think is very bad form given the current COVID restrictions. Had to go to the shop, which is not just a café, but also a new agent and maybe a shop. Not much seating area. After searching for a menu, ABSOLUTELY did not reflect what was offered on the website. Standard fare with burgers, steak sandwiches and bacon and egg breakfast options. After we saw the chicken chips stacked in the open next to the frit in the middle of the day at outside temperature, we went out. At first glance, apart from the cake cabinet, the place needs a complete makeover.

Was a no frills experience. Breakfast stop over was just so. Nothing remarkable, not one to re-visit.
