Bale Jaje - Mataram

Small boutique restaurant and bakery in the corner of Cakra. The restaurant area is considerably small. Fortunately, the place offers outdoor seating. The price is not too expensive but some dishes may need a little bit improvement. Overall, I had a great experience.

This is actually a very good steakhouse offering steak Indonesian style (i.e. crispy, or with Mozzarella topping) as well as Western style. I dared the oxtail, which was excellent, as was the creamy potato soup (a rarity in these parts). Minor complaints: food was served way too fast, and service could have been a bit more friendly.
