Firehouse Subs Windsor - Matthews

I ordered a sub from here earlier today that was supposed to have wheat bread, olives, extra cheese, tomato, provolone, onion, lettuce, and a sidepickle through doordash. When it got here all I had was two burnt pieces of bread with a slice of cheese with a couple olives and a side pickle. I called the store and the guy who picked up told me that all they saw on the order was cheese and olives. They did not offer to refund me or remake my order. I called doordash and they were able to give me a partial refund. The mac and cheese was fine. I have tried to attach a photo with my reciept and a picture of what came but it doesnt seem to be showing up.

This branch has the most extraordinary staff! Justin, the branch manager and Melissa, the area manager were super helpful when a LARGE catering order, high school teacher back to the classroom for the new school year on their first day. What a great way to welcome them again! Thanks for your professionalism, help loading the order in my car and best of all, the delicious fresh sandwiches and chips. Kudos!

I wanted to give the Tuesday morning crew a big shout out. My company placed an online order Monday afternoon for 40 boxed lunches to be picked up on Tuesday. They did not get the order until Tuesday morning. This crew had another catered lunch order to process on top of our lunch so they really had to scramble. Anyway, the manager was very apologetic, but when we got our order nothing was missing, everything was fresh and delicious. Hats off to her and her crew!

Good sandwich but no hot sauces in sight as they used to offer. Tables needed to be cleaned. They seemed overwhelmed that 3 people had an hour to make 10 sandwiches for a to go ode. Really no big deal, but I guess Covid changed that too.

This restaurant has a wonderful, family-friendly atmosphere! The service is exceptional, thanks to the fantastic staff. Make sure to try the Jerk Turkey Sub—you won’t regret it. Trust me! Cheers!
