Somi Sushi - Matthews

Great sushi here! I am also a big fan of the spider roll and California roll because they taste great . It’s a nice place to be, and also I feel like their phone order ahead is so helpful and handy, and the same thing for their mobile ordering.

It’s a low key place that will surprise you with menu selections and food quality. Service is quick and non intrusive. At times gets busy with regulars.

We, my wife and I, actually had no intention of going to Somi Sushi but several other places were to capacity and the wait was enormous so we decided to give Somi a try. It was a great decision we accidentally made. Somi is a smaller restaurant but come with a family-owned appeal. The menu wasn't short of the main staples and the food came out quick and tasted great. We ordered a couple of rolls for starters then I ordered a ramen bowl which was fabulous. Piping hot and busting with flavor. A perfect dish for a cold winter day.

Service and food was fantastic! We got the course meal. So many delicious appetizers, sushi, sashimi, and udon! Also, the salmon teriyaki lunch special was more than enough for our son. Food was fresh and well prepared. The owner Thomas came out and chatted with us as well. Great restaurant.

If you are looking for fresh, high-quality sushi and sashimi in the Charlotte Metro, this is the place. A small, restaurant in Plantation Market located in Matthews, NC. The variety of rolls and specialty rolls are impressive and they never disappoint. Word of caution before making the drive- check on wait time because the restaurant has a handful of tables and seating available. Definitely worth the visit!
