My wife and I ordered the Oollo Loco. The food and service were both great.

It's really exciting to eat the food we fell in love with in the og building. Whatever you are doing keep it up it's awesome.

A good kind of different. Nice place to have a quiet meal with good service. Don't forget to play the poker machines.

Mattoon's is a standout example of a great Mexican restaurant. If you're in the mood for authentic, smaller-scale Mexican flavors, this place hits the spot. Those of us who appreciate and have grown up with this cuisine will truly understand its charm. The interior is like a work of art! It's my favorite Mexican restaurant.

This is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in Mattoon. We've been going here two to three times a month for years. The service is always excellent, but when we have Carl as our waiter, he really goes above and beyond to ensure you're taken care of promptly and with a smile. The food isn't overly spicy, and we always leave feeling satisfied. Plus, they serve free chips and salsa as soon as you arrive. I hope this helps someone!
