I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant! The service was excellent, and the interior was very charming.

Vegetarian options: They are happy to accommodate your needs. Parking: Parking isn't an issue at all!

5 of us went for Easter Brunch as advertised. Not really a Brunch, you ordered off the regular menu, the prices were regular menu prices. We had the prime rib dinner which was cold, no flavor except for a pepper rub on the outside. We had to ask if our salad, which was included with the meal,, was going to be served at same time as entree, 10 minutes later the salad was brought to us. We constantly had to ask for our beverage refills. I won't be going back. Oh, the bottomless mimosas where non existence, two glasses that we had to ask for and were charged for both. Never going back or recommending it.

We were traveling from Vallejo to Chico and spent more than an hour Yelping to find a decent place to eat. Ended up at The Maxwell Inn Bar Grill. Great choice. Food was a little pricey BUT everything is more expensive today AND with slim pickin 's a good place can charge more. I had fish and chips. I got one piece of fish but it was very big and very crunchy without being greasy. I don 't care for beer battered fish because there are pockets that absorb the grease. This was probably the best tasting and best prepared fish I have had. This is a really unassuming place filled with locals, good service and great food. Will definately come back when traveling through Maxwell. PS I ate too fast to take pics. ‍

Great food, drinks and service! Brooke was the bar restaurant manager that waited on us and she took care od all our needs and handled our service wonderfully!
