Docks - MAYVILLE

I know this is a casual place, but the last two times I've been here, I've got a salad (the second time they hope they will redeem themselves) and they were both terrible. All their salads are made from the bag mix that you get from the grocery store with the small crushed carrots and cabbage bits. For the first time, some salad pieces were even wild and brown on the edge, I just picked them. It's one thing to use a prepacked iceberg salad as maybe a side salad base, but if the whole duck is a big chicken salad, I expect it to be made with a mixture of fresh, darker greens. Maybe I expected too much? Not sure. It is a pity that food is so poor because the only redeeming quality was the beautiful outdoor seating.

All you can get crab legs and chicken malinise. Food was delicious. Didn't have to wait for the next bunch of crab legs. Serve was timely. Out door seating. All the decor in the place has a price tag dangling from it. Lady's room was tight, broken toilet seat and cobwebs everywhere. Great view of the lake. We will be returning

They had several specials and a few of us had the crab-stuffed walleye. It was absolutely excellent. The others in our party had the prime rib special and loved that. They offered garlic roasted red potatoes and those looked good. The entrees took awhile but our salads and bread for the table were brought out in a few minutes. The food was worth waiting for. It was extremely expensive in my opinion but it was nice to have a treat once in awhile. The server was knowledgeable and friendly.

Sweet people I've ever seen.... The treasure can sing

It?s was horrible. Took 10 minutes to get seated. Then another 10 to get a waitress to take our order. Once our order was in, it took 2 hours before we got our food. And my sister got a salad, but had to wait another half hour before she actually got it. When she got it, the lettuce tasted like it had pesticide on it. The bathrooms. They?re awful. You have to side step to get in. And the bathroom light wasn?t on so you had to pee in the dark. And had to play scavenger hunt to find the toilet paper.
