Giacomo's - McAlester

I love her chicken parmesan and her sauce!!! My only negative is that it is a bit too expensive... but we usually visit on special occasions!

Underrated. This restaurant is great! The family-run restaurant is always welcoming and has a great service. The McAlester area is known for its great Italian cuisine and this is the best. Pretty the best spaghetti, ravioli, meatballs and steak. The family style menu is perfect for special occasions and the setting builds only the character of the restaurant you snobs!

Went in a few months ago for lunch, food was good but atmosphere was uniquely classic to be put nicely and so quiet I could hear all the conversations around me. Went back in Saturday 11-17-12 and there was Italian music playing and the place seemed more alive. Nice touch!

Great Food. Of the 20 or so Italian restaurants my wife and I have been to in the past year this ranks number one for food and fineness. It was pricey and a bit formal but the food and service couldn 't have been better. We went on Sunday and just happened to hit the after church crowd, next time I will wear a jacket (if we go on Sunday) but I am really looking forward to going back.

Great Steaks!. Although it is a bit pricey my family goes to Giacomo's for the steak. The sirloin or steak for two is great! To me its one of the best steaks in Oklahoma. Kens in Amber is right there also. Its pretty much a wash on all the italian places in Mcalester on sides.
