Church's Texas Chicken - McAllen

Pulled up, got the kids out, and walked up only to see everything locked. No sign to indicate that the dining room is closed or anything, and no one told us otherwise. As it was the restaurant looked completely closed with no one inside. Took of to the sonics across the street instead.

I visited this location before 9 PM, and I found that they only offered legs and thighs; there were no other options available. Additionally, they didn’t have sweet tea or half-gallon drinks. To make matters worse, the customer service was quite rude. The staff seemed more interested in taking another customer’s order than acknowledging my presence. I've come across several other negative reviews, and Church's has not responded to any of them, which says a lot.

I just visited the Pecan location and ordered a three-piece meal for my kids with a Coke, no ice. When I got home, I discovered I only received two pieces. Please pay attention to orders!

One star is being generous. I waited 20 minutes in line for a simple chicken sandwich, and what I received was unacceptable—just a chicken wing placed between two stale pieces of bread, which they tried to pass off as a sandwich. To make matters worse, a young employee, who was texting while walking up to my car, asked me to drive forward and continue waiting for my order. When I went back to complain, the manager was outside in her car and refused to come in to talk to me. The boy who gave me my order even laughed when he saw me come in to voice my concerns. This place needs to be shut down!

Ordered the family meal.. total was $27. 8 pc 2 sides and a coke... Chicken was cold the sides are filled half way. NOT worth the money we PD for. I hadn't had fried chicken in years, it was a huge turn off..
