Suerte Grill - McAllen

Place is great to eat and amazing drinks, only reason im giving it a one star is because when my account was updated i saw that the server tip himself $25 from my card and when i signed the receipt i clearly put $0 for a tip cause i left him cash instead,now I'm disputing to get my money back because that is clearly credit card fraud. Definitely not professional at all!

They hosted a #FreeBritney night yet they used Britney’s umbrella incident on masks and cards. They’re making a profit off her name, but are mocking her by using those images.

Bad service. Bad drinks. Ok food. 4 of us went to have dinner after work at Suerte on Nolana. Restaurant had a few patrons, not busy at all. Our server Paige brought out our food before our appetizer, did not ask us if we wanted salsa or salt or any water or other drinks. While we were waiting for her and her coworkers to take group photos and sit down at bar and chat we were still waiting for our appetizer. Only 3 of us ordered food, the 4th person only had a bottled water. We had to flag her down for salt and salsa and she brought us those small packaged salt packs and a small plastic cup of salsa. I ordered one of their signature drinks and it is basically a 32 oz cherry slush with 1 shot of vodka for $13 (NOT WORTH IT) When she was finally done with her phone we asked for our tabs and asked her to remove the appetizer since we never got it. She removed the appetizer but when we looked at the tabs we each got she charged us gratuity of 18% each. We were also charged $1 for 1 small ramekin of cheese and $1 for avocado. Another waitress came out with the fries while we were paying and she grabbed the fries and said No they don’t want them! She also charged our friend for the bottled water. If I was a server I would’ve packed them and given them to the guests I also would NOT have charged a bottle of water if an order was out late Also I wouldn’t have considered us 4 because technically all our friend asked for was for one bottle of water I didn’t even eat

Great drinks and good food! Kitchen is open late too and the bartender was very nice!
