The Blue Moose On The Lake - McGregor

Would give 10 stars if I could! Was on a bachelorette this weekend and made a stop here the staff was beyond friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a good experience. A group of 12 girls coming in after a few cocktails is probably very annoying, but they were truly so amazing and fun, I couldn't recommend the Blue Moose more!!

We are new to town and have tried out a few local places several times. We have had really bad experiences at Bann's, but the Blue Moose is absolutely THE BEST!!!!! The employees are super friendly, the food is Exceptional!!! We are Blue Moose people for life! Every meal we have had was scrumptious! Try the brisket and mac, the burgers with egg, the walleye bites, the **** Mary : you will NOT be dissappointed at the Blue Moose!!!!

We got Brisket with the Mac, meat hammer, and the special of the day (Cuban sandwich). Everything was cooked perfectly. Very flavorful.

The food was fantastic! Service was excellent! Can't wait to go back. The Meat hammer and the chicken wings are second to none. Good drinks and pulltabs here also.

I absolutely adore hidden gem restaurants—those cozy little bars that stand out for their unique charm. The view of the lake was stunning, and the food surpassed my expectations. The chef is incredibly skilled, clearly showcasing a wealth of training and experience. I ordered the prime rib sandwich without inquiring about its ingredients and was surprised to find it was just meat. I ended up wishing I had asked for cheese and onions, but then the prime rib itself completely impressed me. It was likely the best prime rib I've ever tasted. I would say that this place is a must-visit!
