Durkin's Pizza - McKinney

Went here for dinner, had great pizza and the staff was very friendly. It’s May 2022 and they still have spaced out tables and hand sanitizer available. Some staff was wearing masks as well. Family friendly, there were a couple of families with (well behaved) little kids. Will absolutely be back.

Thought this would be just another pizza, I was very wrong! Crushed my expectations. Fresh ingredients, excellent pizza excellent toppings I will definitely be back again and again. You owe it to yourself to check it out, you will be impressed.

During is a fun corner pizza place with excellent pie and 80s music that inspires the casual joy we had before the lock downs. Cheerful service and take out is available. Family friendly and priced reasonably. Try the calzones, they won't betray you!

Today was my first time having Durkin’s, and it was great! I only have 2 complaints. I got the cinnamon messy bread, and it wasn’t very good. It mostly just tastes like icing with a hint of cinnamon. I was expecting the opposite. With the crust being so thick, I’d expect some seasoning or something on the crust. The crust is bland, but the pizza toppings and sauce are IMMACULATE! Definitely worth the price, but I’d have other sauce to dip the crust and wouldn’t recommend the cinnamon messy bread, unfortunately.

I've been coming here for 12 years or more. Always a wonderful experience. Food is amazing and this cinnamon ugly bread is just on point every time.
