City Works Tysons Corner - McLean

The dining experience was underwhelming. The tacos were advertised to come with elote salad, but instead, they were served with fries, which ended up being the highlight of the meal. The short rib tacos were disappointing; they were overcooked and seemed off for short ribs. The duck nachos had potential to be great, but the cheese sauce lacked flavor and didn’t deliver. It must be pricey since there were only a few chips included.

The regular chicken bites were quite bland and lacked seasoning. They were nearly inedible without the included sauce. The only highlights of our experience were the classic dishes we ordered and the excellent service from our waitress.

The service we received was good, but the food was mediocre to below average, as everything was overwhelmingly salty. Given that there are so many better dining options in Tysons Corner, we won’t be in a hurry to return.

Really nice atmosphere. eating was surprisingly good for what I thought would be a typical beer hall. great place to see a game or have a nice meal or both

The table for our reservation was given to another group, which created confusion and caused our fairly small group to be seated at a huge table instead. Service was very slow for the lunch hour, and the restaurant was less than half full, and I'm still not sure what the problem was we had to ask about our orders after being seated for more than 45 minutes. When we were finally served, the food was tasty, with prices about on par for the area. Lesson learned not a spot for lunch. Maybe happy hours are better here?
