Chedi Thai - MCMAHONS POINT

My partner and I visited this restaurant a few weeks ago, as we are constantly searching for places that accommodate a strict gluten and dairy-free diet. The owner took the time to speak with us before our meal to ensure he understood our dietary restrictions, and the food was not only delicious but exactly as described. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of hospitality we received, making us feel like regulars despite it being our first visit. I highly recommend giving Chedi Thai a try. We had an amazing evening at this restaurant. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our daughter in a wheelchair and the Thai food was outstanding. I highly recommend this place for a delicious Thai dining experience.

This restaurant may seem familiar, as it used to be located in Newtown. If so, it was always great. Now, it still is. In addition to serving delicious Thai food, they also operate as a café during the day, catering to a mix of locals, workers, and tourists with tasty breakfast and lunch options. The lunch menu offers a variety of Thai and non-Thai dishes. The Thai dishes are authentically spicy, with the pad see ew and stir fry with rice being particularly delicious. An unexpected standout was the steak baguette, featuring tender slices of medium rare beef, caramelized onions, Swiss cheese, horseradish mayo, and yummy fries - similar to a Philly steak sandwich. Super tasty, definitely recommend trying it! For dinner, traditional Thai dishes are cooked perfectly. Overall, a great little gem of a restaurant.

This place is the best Thai in Sydney! Greg and his staff are the most hospitable you'll encounter. Great food, great location and great service! We've been to numerous restaurants in the area as locals and this has got to be number one! Yellow curry prawns and pork with Chinese broccoli is perfect! Well done guys!

Best chicken sandwich. The chicken and walnut or chicken and corn sandwiches with lime mayo are so **** good. Especially for $10. I have tried to replicate the recipe myself with no luck just have to keep coming here for my fix!
