Blue Ribbon Diner - Mebane

This is a charming diner that is impeccably clean and full of character. The staff is well-trained, friendly, and welcoming. Prices are reasonable, and the food is quite delicious (the spaghetti and meatloaf were particularly noteworthy). We visited right when it opened, and it was already bustling with customers. It’s easy to see why it's a favorite among both locals and travelers.

AWESOME FOOD!!! I had a cheeseburger for lunch and a chicken plate for dinner. The burger was among the best I've ever had, made with all fresh ingredients. The chicken was juicy and tender—I could just dive into the marinade! The Peach Cobbler tasted like it was made with love. The entire staff is friendly and attentive. I'm definitely planning to come back here many times!

I drove in off Highway 40 and was incredibly excited about my experience at the restaurant. There was no wait, the tables were clean, and our server, Anthony P., was prompt, friendly, and attentive. The Blue Plate chicken was cooked to perfection, and the children's meals received two thumbs up. Overall, I would give this place a solid 5 out of 5 stars. Just a note: my wife and I are both trained French cooks with 20 years of experience in hospitality, and we found the American country fare here to be excellent. You won’t find anything lacking in flavor or quality!

Great home, 50s style, little diner! We had good food and good service!

Found this little treasure by accident and my daughter and I were very pleased. Classic diner feel, quick and friendly service, and it was clean.
