Came here to try their food and look around but was told after Covid they were able to keep the restaurant open unfortunately. There was a lot to look at I'll definitely be back for some house decor

A delightful surprise in a tiny rural town. Charming decor, excellent food and service! And when your meal is done, be sure to check out the antique store in back for fabulous finds.

Update on 3/11/2020: I made a phone call and left a message on Monday, 3/9/2020, but I hadn't received a response yet, so I assumed they might not check their phone messages or reviews. Shortly after I updated this post, I received a call from what I assume was the owner or manager. She was very polite and calmly discussed the issue, and she promptly refunded the erroneous charge to my credit card. I want to thank her (I didn’t catch her name) for handling the situation so well.

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant if you're part of the LGBTQ+ community. We were told to sit anywhere, but after about ten minutes (with only four tables occupied and three servers), we thought someone was coming to assist us. Instead, the server started clearing a table less than four feet away from us. We appreciated the lack of attention and decided to leave. It's 2020, and it's disappointing that some people still hold such narrow-minded views.

Stepping inside, we found a spacious interior featuring a bar area and tables spread throughout. The restaurant also had a charming little shop connected to it that sold antiques and boutique items. The menu was concise, with around ten offerings. I ordered the steak sandwich, my mom opted for the chicken salad, my wife went with a deli sandwich, and my kids chose the bacon cheeseburger. The onion rings were exceptional! The food was fantastic overall, and I will definitely return. As we were leaving, I noticed an inviting bakery display with an array of cheesecakes, cookies, and other delectable desserts. We decided to indulge in a dozen cookies, and they were amazing. Meeker has truly scored a home run with this place. Give it a try!
