Great place, good positive mood, and surf videos paired with hip music.owner is cool and so is staff. And right in downtown where the whole action is. It was quite a Tuesday night when we left.

I’ve been to many Kava Bars around the state. Island Roots is hands down the best; Great staff, great environment, and they welcome everyone and anyone with open arms. Tony the owner, is also a phenomenal guy! I will always support this place.

Wonderful relaxing place to chill. I'm there every day. Maybe even more than the bartenders! You won't find another place like this in town. Highly recommended!

I started coming here over a year ago and can't seem to pull myself away. From the first visit I felt compelled to befriend everyone in there and feel comfortable calling myself part of the island root family now. Laid back atmosphere, very good people and amazing staff and owners. The events they hold are super friendly and gets everyone involved and feeling the island vibes. Would recommend to anyone wanting to try something new or anyone wanting to get away from the bar scene but still with a bar atmosphere (and without poisoning yourself every night and dealing with obnoxious people). 100% would recommend to everyone. Even if you don't like the kava, you will leave feeling relaxed and with a smile
