Walk On's Sports Bistreaux Viera

I must say, this restaurant has made incredible progress since its opening month! The food is outstanding if you're in the mood for delicious Cajun-inspired bar and comfort food. Our server, Tori, was just perfect and truly enhanced our experience, leaving us with full bellies and happy hearts. There's not much more to say—just take a look at those mouthwatering pictures!

This lively, sports-themed restaurant features Cajun-inspired cuisine. However, if you're seeking authentic Cajun food, I suggest heading to rural Louisiana and experiencing a local cookout. Walk-On's offers a milder take on Cajun food. The dishes I tried were decent, but they lacked the spiciness typical of true Cajun cuisine. I did appreciate the creative names of the menu items, and the alcoholic beverage I chose was quite delicious.

I met my son at this restaurant because he had already been here and thought I would appreciate the open, clean sports theme. He was right! The staff was excellent. Our bartenders, Jessica and Vanessa, were friendly and clearly enjoyed their work. We kicked things off with the Cajun shrimp poppers, which are a must-try! They feature four jumbo Cajun-fried shrimp stuffed with cream cheese, jalapeños, and wrapped in bacon—definitely a go-to starter. My son ordered the blackened redfish, and it was perfect in both flavor and presentation. I opted for the tuna tini, which I had heard was a house favorite. Unfortunately, my dish needed a lot of improvement. The Ahi tuna was overcooked and overwhelmed by the cabbage slaw, which had no flavor at all. I was sadly disappointed. Overall, though, I will definitely return. It’s a fantastic sports bar with an awesome staff!

Skip the fried pickles as they are too greasy and eat too salty. The buffalo chicken sandwich, on the other hand, was great. They have Laganitas and Voodoo Ranger on draft, which are big benefits.
