I enjoyed coming here with my partner and sipping drinks by the window overlooking the laneway. The drinks were fantastic as well. Despite being from Brisbane, we have visited this place a few times and always have a great time.
I hadn't visited this cozy restaurant in a while, but was delighted to find that it was just as wonderful as I remembered. I tried the juice of the day, watermelon mint, and the bagel of the week, both of which were excellent. My coffee was also delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and engaging. The funky disco tunes they played added to the relaxed atmosphere of brunch. I definitely need to make a point to come back more often. Thanks to the staff for a great experience!
Try the Aloha pizza so delicious. Staff were friendly. Small venue with no happy hour so for two glasses of wine it was $17. Nice place to eat and run. Will go back for sure.
Hell's Kitchen is a really nice place to relax if you want to take a break from the bustling street of Centre Place. As it is located upstairs, you can enjoy your lunch while looking down the street. My first experience here was great. I ordered Hello-me, which is a burger with slaw, cheese, coriander and golden raisins. It tasted unique — I'd never had burger with that kind of flavor before but it was not weird at all. In fact, I loved it and highly recommend Hello-me if you come to Hell's Kitchen. I also tried the Inglorious sausage, which has bigger portion than Hello-me but was not as glorious as I expected it to be. It was still good though, but I'd give Hello-me 5/5, while just about 3.8/5 for Inglorious sausage. On a side note, the service was good and very attentive.
This is a great little lunch place for a Friday afternoon. When we walked in, the first thing we were asked wasn 't 'do you want a table? ' but 'do you want a beer? '. The food was tasty as well. I could see meyself coming here on another Friday for lunch and not leaving until close. It 's also located away from all the pedestrians on Centre Place with it being on the first level.
