Smile Thai - Melbourne

Cheap and tasty, I gotta say their $8.50 daily menu is quite good. From the Wednesday menu we got the green curry chicken and the oyster sauce stir fried pork with a lamb satay starter. Honestly for all the times I've been here (quite often) they have yet to disappoint. Keep up the good work❤!

We discovered smile Thai accidentally while browsing for restaurants. Firstly you know with how busy it gets that it is a good place but once you try it yourself, it will become an addiction. Three times in two weeks and wanting to try every single item on the menu. Tiny place though, so perfect for pick up food, not ideal for large groups over six people. Amazing Thai cuisine experience that gets better each and every time!

Ok so I know price is no indication of the food but there is always hope that these small hole in the wall places will surprise ? This one did not, the service was good the Phad Thai with pork far too sweet, the green curry ok, so this is more like street vendor foodAnd at best just average, but $22 for two of us who could complain

6 pm was a good time to arrive, as tables soon filled.Friendly, fast service, nice food, and not bad for the price.My basil chilli chicken was nice and spicy, green curry was tasty, but a little mild, rice was very nice.We will return when in the area.

Had the veggie stir fly and pad thai. Both were good, nothing amazing. Veggies were great and tasted really fresh. The coconut rice was average. I'd try a curry next time. Good value for South Yarra.
